A Matter of Taste – I am so grateful that the side effects I’ve experienced from my treatments have been tolerable. Premedications have been effective in warding off nausea. For me one of the more pronounced effects has been a diminished sense of taste. The best way I can depict it is in these two images. One is robust with color and dazzling to the eyes, while the other is monotoned, almost shades of grey. Now, if I can appreciate black and white photography, can I come to appreciate a muted palette?
For all those suffering harsher effects and greater pain, the support and prayers of this group are with you.
I’m taking a photo a day to help the American Cancer Society fight for a world without cancer. Like so many, I have known family and friends who’ve battled the disease, including some who continue to fight. This year, I find myself personally impacted, and it occurs to me that this platform offers a way to channel my passion for photography to help relay a personal journey that may resonate with others. Please consider making a donation because every little bit helps. Thank you for your support!
