Huntington Art Week is March 9th - 15th!
Huntington ART WEEK is running through March 15 in Huntington Village. Please see huntingtonartweek.com for details.
According to that website, “residents and visitors alike can experience a dynamic range of programming, including art exhibitions, live music, film screenings, workshops, and more. Powered by digho, Colored Colors, and G6 Digital Media this community-driven event aims to support local artists, engage residents, and boost local businesses. With 75+ programs across various disciplines and venues, Huntington Art Week offers something for everyone, making it a must-attend experience for art enthusiasts and curious minds alike.”
It's About Community
This event is produced by Colored Colors, Digho & G6 Media, and is inspired by connections made through The Arts and Experiences Committee of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce. The whole endeavor is filled with folks who care about art and community, and who work their tails off to make the world more thoughtful, beautiful and fun for everyone. In doing so, they promote all sorts of local businesses and otherwise strengthen the cultural and socioeconomic base of Huntington.
We're Hosting a Program Sunday at The Firefly!
We at The Firefly Artists are delighted to be hosting “Create Freely” a Huntington Art Week event taking place this Sunday, March 15th from 5:30-7:00PM. Led by artist Rae Cerulean, “Create Freely” will be a high energy intuitive workshop focusing on the technique of continuous line drawing where artists will create a page of one-line abstract faces and decorate them with various mediums. Thank you, Legame Permanent Jewelry for sponsoring!
We look forward to seeing folks at the gallery, and to experiencing both this wonderful event and the community Huntington Art Week helps reinforce!
