January Intention

Parking Lot Tree in Winter by Katheryn Laible

January Intention, 2026

Good morning. Rise and shine.

May we offer Love and Truth in equal measure
With Faith that we’re not alone
In only wanting whatever’s right and good
For this beautiful blue green marble, it’s universe,
And its vibrant well springs of song and dance,
Depth of stillness,
Hurling through space,
Rocking with the rhythm of the stars.
Channeling each bit of that soul
we embody and manifest,
Praying to something wiser than us to guide.

May we live each moment
Informed by the past
In appreciation of the present,
Mindful that now is already past and the present is what
WE have made of it,
From the highest of the high to the lowest of the low,
Humbly, graciously, lovingly, truthfully,
Bending and weaving like undulating reeds
Charting and tacking and endeavoring like sailors
May we find that golden shore.

May we who never see such seas at least in the here and now
Tend gardens and trees knowing that these
Are as precious as any stone
Honorably, courageously, discerningly,
Forgiving, and learning, hopefully nurturing,
Through fire and ice, doldrums and storm,
May we tend toward that golden shore.

May we be what we need this world to be.
Make we make the best of it we will,
I will give my best
with deep thanks to all
Who so endeavor
Godspeed.

May we treasure each delight along the way.

We’ve got this.
