Something’s Not Right – In the course of my daily activity, something seemed off. Nothing big, really… not pain, more like discomfort… but enough for me to say something. I don’t know if it was an early warning or not. I don’t know that I know my body better than anyone else might know their own, I really don’t think so. I don’t even know if I ignored earlier signs, if there were any. I just know that at that particular moment in time (late June), I felt the need to say something, and that was the ripple in the pond.
I’m taking a photo a day to help the American Cancer Society fight for a world without cancer. Like so many, I have known family and friends who’ve battled the disease, including some who continue to fight. This year, I find myself personally impacted, and it occurs to me that this platform offers a way to channel my passion for photography to help relay a personal journey that may resonate with others.
