Have you been to Cedarmere Preserve? This waterfront Roslyn Harbor park was the country home of William Cullen Bryant, a prominent 19th century poet, newspaper editor and civic leader. There’s a main house and a Gothic Revival-style mill. Much has been restored in the last decade, including the mill and its gorgeous gardens.
Next weekend it will be the site of a multi-media performing and visual arts event, In keeping with Bryant’s care for the natural world and this property, the theme will be “water.”
