LIRPC Meeting to Focus on Our Groundwater

Basically, the Long Island Regional Planning Council (LIRPC) helps Long Island see its own big picture. It helps build connections between communities, and focuses on understanding and considering strategies to address regional issues. Their meetings, now held virtually, are open to the public and tend to be filled with really important information.

This next one focuses on something  deeply fundamental to Long Island — the future of our drinking water.

When: December 4th from 10am-12am
Topic: “USGS-NYSDEC Study to Assess Groundwater Sustainability of the Long Island Aquifer System”
Where: Here is a link to the webinar.

It’s important stuff, and you don’t even have to leave your desk to check it out.
